“The breakdown of next steps really helped me as I transition into my new role. The End-of-Grant Checklist was especially helpful.”

“Learning that we need to look at each of the five years, even if we weren’t here at the beginning of the grant, was crucial. Now we know how to ensure a smooth closeout.”

“The most valuable thing about the workshop for me was the ideas on how to spend money. One of our grants and accounting employees attended and heard what is actually allowable, things we’ve been told we couldn’t purchase. That was eye-opening!”

My colleague, Felicia and I were fortunate to attend and represent Carteret Community
College in the “True Colors” Facilitator Training in Greenville, North Carolina (Summer,
2025.) Sandra Hunter brought this significant and uplifting training to Eastern North
Carolina with a focus on TRiO Student Support Services and CCAMPIS Staff. We are
excited to share the “True Colors” philosophy and individual assessments with students
as they experience growth in knowing themselves and in appreciating the
commonalities and differences in others. SCR Next Step Consulting was top-notch in
organizing and providing an atmosphere that was both thought-provoking and
enjoyable. Thank you, Sandra Hunter and SCR Next Step Consulting!
